Cornmeal English Muffin Bread

This bread has a light cornbread flavor and plenty of nooks and crannies.

Ingredient 1 lb. 1 1/2 lb. 2 lb.
water 3/4 c. 1 c. + 2 T 1 1/2 c.
egg 1/2 1 small 1 large
sugar 2 tsp. 1 T 1 T + 1 tsp.
salt 1/2 tsp. 3/4 tsp. 1 tsp.
cornmeal 1/2 c. 3/4 c. 1 c.
bread flour 1 1/2 c. 2 1/4 c. 3.
yeast 1 1/2 tsp. 2 tsp. 2 1/2 tsp.
cycle: white, no timer (egg)
crust: medium
